JNV mathematics and arithmetic preparation

Class 6 mathematics on this exam is arithmetic. Class 9 mathematics is the Class 8 course, asked as short objective items. The methods are different. The habit is the same: the first line of the sum has to be one the child can explain.

Class 6 arithmetic

The 2027-28 prospectus bases all twenty questions on primary topics: the number system, four operations, factors and multiples, fractions, measurement, simplification, perimeter and area, angles, and simple data. It specifically says unlike fractions and division of fractions are not included. Do not spend weeks on a chapter the paper has set aside.

Class 9 mathematics

The Class 9 prospectus uses Class 8 units: rational numbers, squares and cubes, exponents, proportion, comparing quantities, algebraic expressions, linear equations, quadrilaterals, mensuration and data handling. That is not Class 5 arithmetic with larger numbers.

The review rule

Every wrong sum is rewritten once with the correct first line only. That line is what failed. Daily practice papers are meant to be finished.
