JNV Class 9 entrance preparation strategy
This is the study split for a notified Class 9 test. It is not a second Class 6 plan, and it is not a list of dates. Confirm the vacancy and the eligibility rules on the admission page first.

Confirm the seat before the timetable
Lateral entry exists only where NVS has vacant seats. If the notice is not out, keep Class 8 school work honest and add a light objective habit. Do not buy a year of Class 6 figure books while you wait.
Divide four subjects, and know the ranking rule
The 2027-28 prospectus still requires qualifying marks in English, Hindi, mathematics and science. The merit list uses mathematics, science, and the language with the higher score. A student cannot drop the weaker language, and also should not pretend both languages count twice toward rank.

One subject a day
Beside school homework, one subject a day and a mixed set on the weekend is enough. Mathematics and science usually need the larger share. Languages need a weekly passage so the objective paper does not surprise a student who only writes long school answers.
