How to prepare for the JNV Class 6 entrance exam
This is a study plan, not another copy of the syllabus. It assumes you have read the Class 6 page and confirmed eligibility in the current prospectus. The 2027-28 paper has figures, environmental studies, arithmetic and language.

One short slot, four skills
Forty minutes on a school day is enough if it produces finished questions. नवोदय कक्षा 6 की तैयारी falls apart when Monday is only figures and EVS never appears until the last fortnight.
Give the first section three sittings: two for figures, one for EVS. Arithmetic gets three. A passage takes fifteen minutes on the other days, because the language test is four passages, not one.
- Monday and Thursday: figure series, mirror images, embedded figures
- Wednesday: EVS — one topic from the surroundings, plus a short passage
- Tuesday and Friday: one arithmetic topic, then ten mixed sums
- Saturday: one timed paper with all three sections, reviewed the same day
What finished means
A topic is done when a fresh set can be solved without the notebook open, and one mistake can be explained aloud. The weekend mock is wasted if the score is photographed and never opened.
